Couple looking for comfort
The breakfast was surprisingly good. It had a nice variety and changed up everyday, which kept things interesting for me and my partner. The staff was friendly, especially Arthur at the front desk, who made check-in a breeze with his humor and dad jokes and. I'll admit I kinda liked that.
It's not wallet-friendly,, but it was still acceptable for the experience.

This hotel really surprised me with how clean and inviting everything was! I loved relaxing in the jacuzzi and cooling off at the indoors swimming pool after a long day. The only hiccup was that the TV remote didn’t work, but it didn’t ruin my stay. 😊

Just a balanced option for a short break in Southgate with outstanding value for money. My kids loved the pool a lot. Check if they have allergy-friendly options before your visit.

missingWrote a review on Aug 01friendly staffdecent breakfastenjoyable pooldirty roomneglected bathroomsqueaky bed
The cleanliness of our room left much to be desired. Upon entering, I noticed some icing on the air conditioner and a handprint on the headboard. The room had a musty smell that made it uncomfortable. The bathroom felt neglected with a dirty toilet seat and a clogged drain that thankfully got fixed after a call. Fortunately, the staff were kind and responsive, especially the maintenance guy. I appreciated the breakfast options, which were decent, and the pool area was nice, making it enjoyable for the family. However, the room definitely needs an upgrade. the bed squeaked whenever I moved, and the furniture seemed overdue for a replacement. Overall, while there were aspects I liked, particularly the staff's friendliness and the pool area, I think more attention to detail in cleanliness and maintenance is necessary.

The standard room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a great base for our concert in Detroit. Breakfast had a good variety, but I would have preferred more protein options like yogurt instead of just carbs. Additionally, the staff could not assist with allergy questions regarding breakfast items, which was a setback for my child. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
